About CMD

Since our founding in 2000, we have developed a successful executive search business that is execution focused and results driven. We serve a diverse group of clients that range from multi-national corporations to start-ups. We find the best candidates, even against the most aggressive timelines and challenging requirements, and fill positions that range from middle managers to senior executives. Our boutique firm enables us to provide high levels of personal service for the searches we are hired to commence. We pride ourselves on client service, expedient searches and long-term relationships based on true partnerships. In fact, our clients tell us we’re easy to work with and that we introduce a friendly style of doing business. We sincerely enjoy our work, appreciate and respect our colleagues, greatly value our candidates and clients and revel in good results. Our Process     

1. The search begins with extensive evaluation of the client’s need. CMD And Associates works closely with the client to arrive at a thorough understanding of the company, its culture and organization and the specifications of the position to be filled. Job specifications included title, department definition, reporting structure and details of compensation. It is imperative that the job description reflects a clear understanding and agreement between the client and search consultant before proceeding.

2. Once the job description is finalized, the intensive research phase of the search commences. We engage in extensive industry research and networking, existing sources are contacted, leads are vigorously pursued.

3. Based on our research, we personally interview each and every candidate and provide you with a precise detailing and highlighting pertinent information along with their updated resume.

4. We will report our progress regularly and present a strong and diverse candidate pool to the client by email or phone. Client agrees to provide critical feedback to CMD and Associates by same methods within 24 hours of receipt of resume. In a “candidates market,” it is important that the time between first contact of a qualified candidate and formal engagement be as short as possible.

5. Once client agrees to the “fit” of a candidate to the skill requirement, Client also agrees to begin the interview process within three (3) business days. We assist/arrange the interviews with the best prospects. We also prepare the client to meet the candidates. Highly skilled and truly motivated candidates in the current marketplace may be presented with multiple opportunities from which to choose. It is vital that they be interviewed as soon as possible.

6. CMD and Associates acts as the liaison between candidate and client to provide feedback and to address any unanswered questions. As the representative of the client, our assistance in negotiating and responding to concerns and questions from both sides saves you and your staff both time and effort. Integral parts of what you pay us for are our skills in this delicate area. We highly recommend that once the top candidate has been identified that an offer is made within 24 hours. We will be with you throughout the entire process!

7. After the candidate has agreed to accept the position, the dynamic aspect of the effort is still not complete. Follow-up is continued with the candidate and client to ensure a smooth transition.

Our Team     

Twanda - President

Twanda has been in the corporate culture for over 10 years working successfully in a number of capacities, including recruiting, for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Exxon Mobil and Target Corporations. Twanda is a graduate of Purdue University, which allows her to have an even stronger network coupled with her professional resources, such as being a lifetime member of both the NBMBAA and Purdue Alumni Association. She is also a member of SHRM, NAAAHR and Council of Logistics Management. As a seasoned Executive who has identified, screened, interviewed and hired thousands of candidates Twanda’s corporate experience provides the client with a strong recruiting foundation to identify talented candidates that can and will “fit” into a client’s culture. She built CMD’s foundation highly on relationships and integrity. In fact, 90% of her business comes from personal referrals! A quality and conscientious professional who exceeds goals and goes beyond your level of expectation.
